Just participated in demo of King Vision. Definitely worth trying out on the mannequin before using on a patient. The blade with the channel tends to deliver the tube a little lower and to the right of the centre of the visual field. This is a little different than the Airtraq. Moving the blade up and to the left seems to direct the tube more towards the cords. I would prefer if the channel directed the tube up more aggressively. If you use the blade without the channel an agressive hockey stick on the stylet seems to work.
Agree Tony.
Also Emma and I found actually smaller blade -peds blade -may actually get tube directed higher more easily even in an adult .
Adult size is 3
Peds size is 2
We also have neonate size 1 but it is quite small.
We tried channeled and Un channeled ..
Tried with bougie too which didn’t work as well as hyperacute curve on ET tube.
